Description
As an Account Engineer, you will be part of a team that provides onsite and remote support while under the guidance and assistance of a Senior Engineer. As the team member with the most hands-on knowledge of your assigned clients’ IT systems and network infrastructure, you will work closely with your clients to provide technical support, expert guidance, and regularly scheduled maintenance.
Required Experience and Skills
- HP servers, workstations, printers, and network switches
- Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP Server
- Microsoft 365 user, mailbox, and SharePoint accounts
- Microsoft Hyper-V or ESXi hypervisors
- Microsoft Windows 10, 11
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Troubleshooting enterprise systems
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability (go ahead and show us your Rubik's Cube mastery!)
- Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to knowledge sharing among team members
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions
- Experience with SonicWall
- Experience managing Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Services
Specific Duties
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of customer applications, hardware, network, and procedural issues
- Complete server and desktop remediation tasks
- Respond to ticket escalations for your assigned Clients
- When necessary, act as the liaison to client vendors for printers, accounting packages, wiring projects, etc.
- Ensure accurate documentation for your assigned clients by regularly reviewing and updating documentation in LMT's PSA platform
- Upon completion of tasks or tickets, update LMT's PSA platform with detailed documentation and accurate time entries (we love the "information" in Information Technology)
- Timely response to client tickets to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Daily review of caseloads for your assigned clients
- Provide after-hours and weekend support on a rotational basis
Compensation & Perks
- Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000
- PTO: 18 days of PTO in a year
